Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those poor people who were devastated by the tornado in Oklahoma. I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the television. How are they ever going to rebuild their lives and their community. Such a terrible thing.

Plastic and Birds

English: Swan nesting at Tewkesbury Next to the wharf and just below the busy Avon bridge, this swan seemed quite content with her nest position. We noted some plastic ‘recycling’ going on with this construction. This is a shocking video. Those poor birds. I cried when I saw it. How can people be so blasé about their rubbish. I wish more people would look at this, it might make them think about what they are doing to the world, and its defenceless creatures. Sadly, I think that the people who do take the time to watch it are probably already the people who are doing the right thing. One can only hope that more coverage of this subject will wake people up don’t you think?
