Today’s topic is ants. For the last few months we have had a lot of tiny black ants crawling all over our fences etc, and at night instead of going back to their nest they curl up together in little bunches. Now they are in the house doing the same thing. I said to the spouse that they look like sleeper cells planning an attack. The ones inside the house don’t seem to move at all just clump together but the clumps are getting bigger and there are more of them. ( should be dangerous type music here like Jaws or something) I have never seen ants behave this way before. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Do they know something we don’t? Is there going to be a lot more rain, tsunami, cyclone, earthquake? I am getting worried. Or do they plan on taking over our house by sheer numbers?

We have ants too…they love the dog’s food and have started to invade the bathroom. They creep me out. I don’t know why they are massing in your house but I know they are attracted to sweetness, water and fungi. I have even seen them go after cough syrup and glue. Who knows?
Yeah they creep me out too. I keep looking at them wondering what they are planning. One lady said they ate something in her fuel tank and it cost her $2k to fix. So I hope they don’t intend wrecking my house. They are on the ceiling where I can’t reach them. I loved your blog by the way it was so pretty.
