Curiosity’s Seven Minutes Of Terror

Isn’t technology fantastic? The nuclear- powered rover landed in Gale Crater. Curiosity, which is the largest most advanced spacecraft sent to another planet,  is on a 2 year mission to look at the Mars environment  to find out if the conditions are suitable for microbes. For the space enthusiasts it’s a chance to see if there was ever life on Mars.  Some of the pictures of the Martian surface are beautiful. Amazing to think we are actually seeing another planet up close.
