This guy is “no dope.” He wants his creature comforts. 🙂

How funny! He even took it up in the tree. Can’t blame him for wanting a comfy place to relax after a hard day of hunting.

Love this post! It so reminds me of when we were in Grumeti Lodge, Tanzania and a monkey stole the bread right off of our table 2 days in a row, then laughed down at us while he ate it in the far reaches of a near-by tree. On the third day, when we had our camera at the ready to catch him in the act, he happily stayed in his tree, minus our bread. Smart!

Hi Theresa thanks for commenting. It makes me laugh when people say animals are dumb. Your experience with the monkey and also the post about the leopard makes you think otherwise. I think anyone who has spent quality time with an animal knows they are a lot smarter than we give them credit for don’t you think? cheers Judy 🙂

Agreed. He was certainly laughing at us – he got our bread and we got no pictures!

Thanks for the comment. Animals certainly get used to creature comforts don t they? Cheers Judy
